The air was filled with ice crystal snowflakes softly flashing and twirling in the steam of morning's breath when I went outside to greet the sun today. Thanksgiving Day weekend is cold this year in Cascadia, I could feel the skin on my hands chapping as the chill sank into the tiny bones of my fingers. I almost hurried through my hello with a quick wave like neighbors give when it's cold and they want to get back inside their warm homes. Had I not paused there to take a breath in the frozen grass and stand and be present to the Sun’s soft reply, I would have missed the Magic. Who cares about cold toes when the Earth and the Sun are showering you with Rainbow Snowflake Shooting-Star Cupcakes Of Love!
