What is the meaning of my sun sign?

Your Sun Sign is the strongest aspect of your Zodiac personality. A Sun Sign is determined by the time of year you were born because as the earth makes its annual journey around the sun different star constellations come into view in the night sky. These are your Lucky Stars.

Each of the twelve Sun Signs of Astrology has a planetary ruler that exerts a particular cosmic influence.
With a Sun Sign the sun is the planetary ruler.

Knowing someone's Sun Sign gives you a snapshot of their basic makeup and overall disposition.
Running a Birth Chart shows the details the astrological qualities of all the planets and more.

What does the moon sign mean to my horoscope?

Picture
The moon holds strong influence over the emotions, intuition and psychic abilities. The moon sign says a lot about how warm or cool a person is concerning matters of the heart and home.

The moon's influence changes as it passes through the astrological signs. The bold initiative of an Aries Moon, the aloof Gemini Moon and the practical personal traditions of a Lunar Capricorn are markedly different.

The moon is said to be exalted when in its own sign of Cancer meaning that when positioned in the watery depths of the Crab it is at its most comfortable and powerful place in the sky.

The power of the moon is a major player in your astrological chart . This is especially true for women and people with a lot of water in their elemental makeup.

The moon changes signs about every two days which makes it a much more variable aspect than the sun.
The moon sign is different than the phases of the moon. The lunar cycle from one new moon to the next takes 29.5 days or about a "moonth".

People who share the same sun sign may seem similar on the surface yet possesses a much different set of internal motivations depending on the moon sign.

How do the PLANETs AFFECT my star chart?

Knowing how to interpret the planets in your chart begins with knowing what each planet means in a personal sense. Once you understand the basic planetary association you can then add the "flavor" of influence that comes from the sign in which the planet is positioned.

Like the exalted moon in Cancer, a planetary influence is more powerful and pure when positioned in its own sign. Neptune in Pisces, the sign of the fishes is way wetter so to speak than puting the planet Neptune in earthy Capricorn or Taurus.

To interpret the meaning of the astrological pairings of planets and signs start with the psychological aspect that each planet governs. Refer to the list of planet associations, then add the flavor of  influence offered by the particular sign of the planet indicated on your star chart.

The planet plus its sign creates a new vibrational expression. The many layers of these celestial energies is what makes up the unique experience of your being. A natal chart is a complex barometer of the environmental influences of the cosmos at work during the time of birth.

Natal astrology measures the planets location on the horizon at the moment of your transition and manifestation in this world.

Your astrology chart brings to light the gifts you've been given and the difficulty you may face.

The placement of planets, luminaries, asteroids and points of your chart describes the culmination of your unique vibrational expression.

What do the Houses mean in Astrology?

Your astrology birth chart is divided into twelve sections like the hours of a clock. There is a house for every sign.

The placement of the planets within these houses indicates extra emphasis in those areas such as home, career and romance. Everyone has all twelve houses and all the planets in their astrology chart. It is the specific arrangement of the two that signifies the weight and effect of their influence.
Astrology is a cosmic anthropology that derives the significance of planetary influences from the combinations of elements. Look to the houses of your Natal Chart for the natural gravitational pull of your life. There is special emphasis to the area of life represented by the houses when there is one or more celestial power present.

An astrology chart cannot dictate your destiny, rather it is a way of knowing the forces your are dealing with on the way. Whether you recognize the similarities or not astrology is a valuable tool for self examination and an excellent cypher to reflect upon relationships with others.

Only you can decide where you are going.  While it may be true that it is your individual decisions that drive your destiny it seems equally as true that understanding yourself is the best way to get there.
