ELF Walk "Bring" List
What to bring on an Enchanted Living Forest Walk

Picture
We look forward to an ELF Walk with you.
For your comfort, here are some suggestions for your packing list.

  • Supportive shoes appropriate for safe walking on wet and uneven ground
  • Indoor/Outdoor wardrobe: rainproof coat, magic hat, gloves, short sleeve shirt and something warm and wooly for changeable weather
  • Refilled water bottle, personal snacks, sharing snacks, and extra juju
  • Sense of humor
  • Camera, notebook, pencil, and/or photographic memory
  • Blanket, folding chair, or something to sit on in the forest and meadows
  • Offerings for the Fae: tiny love letters, pretty rocks, cookies, woven things, chocolate, songs, flowers, invisible adornments and other trinkets
  • Not your dog – kids and parrots are ok, cats and ferrets are negotiable
  • Service animals are always welcome

Prepay for your ELF Walk tickets online or contact Smoochy The Frog to register by phone or email.

Pixie Patrol Bulletin

Pixies are alive and well in the Snohomish wilds of Washington State. They are some of the craftiest of the "no=see'm" kinds of Fae, Pixies are notorious for taking delight in naughty tricks, like untying your shoe laces. It’s better to befriend them, instead of offend.

If you have brought anything with you that you intend to share with the fairy realms, be sure to include the Pixies. When picnicking, think about leaving a tiny portion expressly for them. Best leave a pinch now, and not be pinched later.

At the very least, come to an adequate agreement of polite interactions with the Pixies, or ever be the one in the walking party with a reminder in your shoe.
